Call for Funding for Experimental and Numerical Lab Equipment

PLASMAScience Graduate School launches its annual call for funding dedicated to the acquisition of experimental and numerical lab equipment.

The objective of this call is to support the purchase of equipment intended for plasma physics teaching.

The PLASMAScience financial contribution is limited to a maximum amount of €50,000 (taxe-free). 

Eligibility

Applications must concern the purchase of equipment contributing to experimental and/or numerical laboratory activities in plasma physics.

Eligible projects are those carried out within teams from IP Paris laboratories and addressing one or more of the major thematic areas of PLASMAScience, namely:

  • Plasmas and Energy.
  • Plasmas and Society.
  • Plasmas and Space.

Evaluation criteria

Applications will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

  • scientific, technical, and educational quality of the project;
  • innovative character of the proposed equipment;
  • relevance of the project to the field of plasma physics.

Key dates and application procedure

April 15, 2026: application deadline. 

Early May 2026: project selection by the PLASMAScience scientific committee.

May 2026: results announcement.
