2022 René Pellat Prize for Pablo San Miguel Claveria

We warmly congratulate Pablo San Miguel Claveria, who got the 2022 René Pellat Prize awarded by the plasma division of the French Society of Physics (SFP), for his PhD work entitled “Betatron radiation in beam-driven plasma wakefield acceleration and ultra-relativistic beam-plasma instabilities”, completed at LOA under the supervision of Sébastien Corde.

The prize jury highlighted the diversity of the problems studied and their modes of investigation as well as the high quality and richness of the results obtained, making this thesis a remarkable exemplary work and its author a particularly talented researcher.

Pablo is currently a postdoc fellow at the Institute for Plasmas and Nuclear Fusion at Técnico Lisboa in Portugal.
